Leeds fans rejoice at Don Goodman's absence from commentary v Wolves

The Leeds faithful were overjoyed on Thursday night!

If there's one thing Leeds United fans prefer to winning football matches these days, it's the absence of Don Goodman from the commentary box.

Indeed, Goodman has covered a number of Leeds games so far this season and supporters believe he has shown bias against United in all of them.

It may not be his intention but, according to many fans, that's how it's coming across from the former Bradford and Wolves striker.

That's why the Whites faithful got a double boost on Thursday night as Goodman was given a rest in the commentary box - and Leeds beat his old club Wolves 3-2.

That said, many fans wanted Goodman to be working at Molineux with hindsight - they would have loved to see his reaction to Leeds' win.

With some harmless fun, Leeds fans took to Twitter to rejoice and express their delight at the co-commentator's absence. A bit of mockery at someone else's expense is probably the least supporters at Elland Road deserve following their 3-2 win over Wolves. Especially considering the amount of jokes made at their expense in recent times...
