Leonardo Ulloa says Leicester City must not get carried away

Leicester City are currently sitting at the top of the Premier League table.

Leonardo Ulloa has told Goal.com that Leicester City must not stop and think about what they have achieved so far this season.

Leicester have made a wonderful start to the campaign, and they sit at the top of the Premier League table after 16 matches.

However, Ulloa has urged his teammates not to get carried away with their good form.

"We are staying clam. We don't think we're anything and we keep on working the same," he said.

"That's the key for us, to not think beyond what we are doing.

"The atmosphere inside the club, in the training sessions, in the training ground during the week is the same as ever.

"Things are going well for us and that's important for us, but we've achieved nothing."

Leicester have surpassed all expectations already, and they have accumulated 35 points from their first 16 matches.

Claudio Ranieri’s side have lost just one match all season, and they are the top scorers in England’s top flight.

Ulloa may actually be slightly disappointed with his contribution to that goal-scoring tally, as he has only netted once.

However, the likes of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez have hit the back of the net with great regularity, and there is genuine talk regarding Leicester potentially making it into the Championship League.

As things stand, the Foxes are nine points clear of fifth placed Tottenham Hotspur, with their next match coming against Everton.
