The Portuguese international scored twice in a 3-1 triumph.

Nottingham Forest needed a win today at the City Ground against Reading with the pressure on Dougie Freedman becoming palpable.

However the Scot can breathe a sigh of relief after his players put in an excellent performance against Reading to come out with a 3-1 win.

It was a tremendous turnaround in the second half from Forest who were inspired by their Portuguese international forward Nelson Oliveira.

The striker arrived on loan from Benfica this summer in something of a surprise move and has already began to stamp his authority on the Championship.

Prior to the international break he scored the winning goal for Forest in the East Midlands derby against Derby County.

Today he netted two including a sublime finish to give Forest a fantastic win. He was taken off late in the game to a standing ovation from the Forest fans as he continues to establish his position as a cult hero at the club.
