The goalkeeper was keen to move on from his blunder which handed Bordeaux the lead in his side's 2-1 win.
The Reds were 2-1 winners against Bordeaux on Thursday evening to take them top of Group B with nine points.
It has been a swift turnaround from them in the competition, having drawn their first three games under Jurgen Klopp and Brendan Rodgers respectively.
With top sport now theirs, and just one game against second placed Sion remaining, Mignolet says winning the group is very much their aim.
He was also quick to say that their response to his early mistake was what pleased him most on the evening.
"The main thing is we responded after that, we didn't let it affect our game, and we came back even before half-time, which is a good thing," he told liverpoolfc.com.
"We want to win the group, that's the most important thing, that's the objective."
“We're happy we qualified but that doesn't mean we're going to take the next game as an easy one so we'll try to get three points in Switzerland also."
With things now going so well at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp, winning the Europa League is a very realistic target.
They should be keen to do that as well, with a place in next season's Champions League awaiting the winners.
That would be highly desirable to the Reds, who are keen to rejoin European football's elite having briefly returned to that stage last season.
With there being multiple challengers for the top four this season as well, it also represents a solid back up for Klopp’s side should they fail in that Premier League pursuit.
