Yedlin, Alderweireld and more: Tottenham players react to 4-1 victory

Tottenham Hotspur are in very fine form right now.

Tottenham Hotspur stretched their undefeated league run to 12 matches at the weekend when they overcame West Ham United 4-1 at White Hart Lane, and some of their players were quick to celebrate at the final whistle.

It has become the done thing among many football fans to express their feelings of delight or displeasure on social media on match-day and such was the case on Sunday when many of Tottenham’s players took to Twitter to comment on their latest win.

Two goals from Harry Kane and one apiece from Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker gave Spurs a comfortable victory, with Manuel Lanzini scoring a consolation late on.

After the match, Kane wrote the following message on Twitter: “What a performance! Electric from start to finish. Atmosphere was unreal; let’s keep it going.”

Fellow goal-scorer Alderweireld also had his say, writing, “Massive team performance. We worked very hard for the win and happy with my goal to help the team.”

Tottenham loanee DeAndre Yedlin was watching the match despite currently plying his trade at Sunderland and the USA international had a special message for Walker following the defender’s goal.

“Yes Kyle Walker…love that!” Yedlin wrote, to the man he will be hoping to one day usurp as the club’s first-choice right-back.
