Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Dembele's performance against West Ham

Tottenham Hotspur overcame West Ham United 4-1 on Sunday but what did Spurs fans think of the Belgian midfielder's contribution?

Tottenham Hotspur stretched their undefeated streak to 12 Premier League matches when they overcame West Ham United 4-1 at White Hart Lane on Sunday.

Goals from Toby Alderweireld, Kyle Walker and a brace from Harry Kane ensured Manuel Lanzini’s late strike for the Hammers was a mere consolation, but it was another Tottenham player who particularly impressed in the form of midfielder Mousa Dembele.

The 28-year-old has been in brilliant form for Tottenham in recent weeks and he could well go on to become the club’s Player of the Month, with strong competition from Kane of course.

Dembele has often divided opinion among Tottenham fans but there is no doubting his emergence as a key player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

With goals in the recent clashes against Bournemouth and Aston Villa and some standout performances elsewhere, it is time Dembele got the credit he deserved.

After Tottenham’s latest match we took to Twitter to see what their fans thought of Dembele’s performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
