Charlie Austin reacts to Liverpool’s performance, David James has advice for Philippe Coutinho

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin was impressed with Liverpool’s win against Manchester City in the Premier League this evening.

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool’s performance against Manchester City this evening.

Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 4-1 hammering of City at the Etihad Stadium.

Rangers striker Austin was following the match, and he was impressed with the performance of the Reds, especially with their third goal.

Former Liverpool goalkeeper David James was also following the game, and he had a piece of advice for attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho, who scored the Merseyside outfit’s second goal midway through the first half.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the Etihad Stadium, hosts City had 59% of the possession, took 11 shots of which three were on target, and earned 11 corners.

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool had 41% of the possession, took 14 shots of which nine were on target, and earned five corners.

Liverpool are ninth in the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from 13 matches, six points behind fourth-place Arsenal.
