Wilfried Zaha posts video of his attempt at the 'Bolasie flick' in Crystal Palace training

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has been showing off his skills on Instagram.

Wilfried Zaha has posted his attempt at the ‘Bolasie flick’, which he performed in Crystal Palace training earlier today, on Instagram.

Bolasie pulled off the never-seen-before piece of skill against Tottenham Hotspur last season, when he left Christian Eriksen for dead at White Hart Lane.

The trick, which involves flicking the ball up and turning 360 degrees, carries a huge degree of difficulty, but Zaha proved that he could match his Palace counterpart.

The video, which he posted on Instagram on Tuesday, further highlighted Zaha’s dribbling ability, which has made him a huge fans’ favourite at Selhurst Park.

The England international has enjoyed two spells with the Eagles, where he has been able to thrive.

His partnership with Bolasie has threatened defences, and the pair’s unpredictable styles mean that they are very hard to contain.

The next test for Zaha will be to see if he can pull off his Palace teammate’s trademark flick in a match, when there will be far more pressure on him than there was in training.
