The Denmark international will hope to fire against Scandinavian rivals Sweden.

As can be seen below, Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen is fighting fit and ready to feature for his nation Denmark against Sweden tonight in a bid to earn a place at Euro 2016.

The former Ajax man has been in stellar form over the last month for Spurs since returning from an injury that saw him miss a couple of weeks of action for the White Hart Lane side.

Eriksen showed his class with a brace of direct free kick goals against Swansea in a 2-2 draw last month, while he also scored against Anderlecht in the Europa League recently.

The supremely talented midfielder put in a stellar showing for the Lilywhites in a 1-1 draw against Arsenal in the North London Derby last time out and will want to take his excellent recent form into the international fixtures.

Denmark take on Scandinavian rivals Sweden in the Euro 2016 qualifiers tonight, with the away leg first and the reverse fixture taking place on Tuesday night for an invaluable place at the tournament in France next summer.

The 23-year-old has quickly become as crucial for his country as he is for Tottenham, with 19 goals in 69 appearances for his homeland.
