Celtic lost to Molde in the Europa League this evening.

Celtic endured a miserable night in Norway, as they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Molde in the Europa League Group A.

Hosts Molde took the lead as early as the 11th minute when Ola Kamara steered the ball past goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

Vegard Forren doubled the home team’s advantage in the 18th minute, and although Kris Commons' superb finish halved the deficit in the 55th minute, Mohamed Elyounoussi immediately replied.

Commons was one of the better players for Celtic, but the 32-year-old attacking midfielder was taken off for Nadir Ciftci in the 76th minute.

The former Scotland international was furious with the decision of Hoops’ manager Ronny Deila and made his feelings clear, as shown in the photo above.

During his time on the pitch, the former Nottingham Forest man took four shots of which one was on target, created two chances, had a pass accuracy of 85.7% and took 35 touches.

Celtic are at the foot of the Europa League Group A at the moment with just two points from three matches, two points behind second-place Fenerbahce.
