Charlie Austin sends message to Queens Park Rangers supporters on Twitter

Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin is currently out through injury.

Charlie Austin has urged Queens Park Rangers supporters to keep the faith on social media site Twitter

Austin, who is currently out injured, watched from the sidelines as the R's drew 0-0 with Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, and fans' frustrations were audible during the contest.

QPR supporters booed when manager Chris Ramsey took Jay Emmanuel-Thomas off in the second-half, and there is a real sense of dissatisfaction around the club at the moment.

However, Austin has called for the club's supporters to remain positive, despite the side's poor run of form.

QPR have won just one of their last seven matches, and Ramsey is under extreme pressure, with a vocal section of the club's fan base wanting him out.

The R's had hoped to pieced together a promotion push this season, but they haven't reached the standards required to break into the play-off pack.

At the moment QPR are sat in 10th place in the Championship table, and only a big improvement in their performance levels over the coming weeks will see them climb the standings.
