Molde striker Ola Kamara aiming to take two Celtic players out of Europa League match

Celtic take on Molde in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

Molde striker Ola Kamara has told the Glasgow Evening Telegraph that his team will be looking to take Celtic duo Stefan Johansen and Nir Bitton out of the game on Thursday night.

Celtic meet Molde in the Europa League, with both sides looking to make it out of a competitive group.

And Kamara says that his team will keep a close eye on Johansen and Bitton throughout the contest, as they know all about their talent.

"There will be extra motivation for the guys when Stefan comes," the striker said. “We don't want him to come home and do well.

“The players will be competitive and he's going to have a hard time. We know he is a great player so we need to try and take him out of the game. It will be the same for Nir Bitton."

Kamara actually played alongside Johansen for Stromgodset, so he will appreciate the midfielder's talents more than most players in the Molde side.

The striker will also know all about Celtic boss Ronny Deila, as he was managing the Norwegian side during that time.

If Celtic can secure a victory on Thursday night, it will put them in a strong position to qualify as they have made an encouraging start to their European campaign.

Draws against Ajax and Fenerbahce have given them a foundation to build on, but three points in midweek would offer a timely boost if they are to progress.
