Paul Clement confirms Craig Bryson and Jake Buxton are back in Derby County training

Derby County meet Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday in Championship action.

Paul Clement has confirmed, in comments covered by the club's official Twitter account, that Craig Bryson and Jake Buxton are back in Derby County first-team training.

Derby have been without Bryson and Buxton for much of the season so far, but the duo are nearing full fitness now.

And Clement believes that their return to the first-team fold is a major boost for the side, going into their game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.

According to a report in the Derby Telegraph, neither Buxton nor Bryson will be involved in either of the Rams' next two matches, as they still need to recover match sharpness.

Their return will increase the quality of Clement's squad even further, and that will be worrying for the rest of the Championship.

Derby made a slow start to the campaign, but they have started to click into gear of late and are rapidly climbing the table.

Clement's side's good form leaves Bryson and Buxton with a fight to win their place in the team back when they are available for selection again.
