1860 Munich release their annual Oktoberfest kit...and it's shockingly bad

Is this brilliant or just really, really, terrible? You tell us!

We love Oktoberfest – in fact what isn't there to love about it! From big cold glasses of German beer, lederhosen-clad Bavarian women and loads and loads of sausage.

While we certainly love all of that, one thing we don't really like – unless they're really, really well done - is novelty football kits, and in particular novelty Oktoberfest kits.

So we're not exactly sure about this year's effort from Bundesliga 2 side 1860 Munich, who have released a special Oktoberfest kit which includes yellow buttons and pockets on a pretty nasty green colour. It looks more like something Bilbo Baggins would wear rather than a professional footballer.

And if you think the shirt is bad enough, just take a look at the shorts...OH GOD THE SHORTS! Yes, they are made to look like lederhosen, with some odd pattern all over them.

So, with it all looking a bit naff, you'd think it would be well cheap... right? WRONG! The shirt alone is selling for €90! That's £65! More than a Premier League shirt and a pretty long name on the back – though that will probably be spelt wrong.

What do you think? Is this brilliant or will poor 1860 Munich have a right rough time over the next few weeks having to wear this shocker?

Either way, at least they have loads of beers and sausage to keep them quiet if all the aggro from the fan gets a little too much for them...
