Shearer responds to Kane's celebration on Twitter, jokes about his goalscoring record

The England legend has wished the Tottenham Hotspur striker luck... but not too much of it!

Alan Shearer responded to Tottenham striker Harry Kane with a kind message on Twitter after the 22-year-old scored at San Marino and reacted by emulating the England legend's own celebration.

Indeed, Kane and Shearer met recently and discussed everything from scoring goals to celebrating them - hence the Tottenham man's best impression of the England and Newcastle icon.

And, after his goal against San Marino, the 22-year-old took to Twitter with a cheeky 'how did I do' aimed at the original master of the move.

Shearer responded warmly, saying he is looking forward to the Spurs man replicating it on a regular basis for the Three Lions.

The 45-year-old did, however, joke that he doesn't want Kane to score more England goals than he did!

Kane's early England appearances have certainly gone well for the young forward. The Tottenham man netted on his international debut and has now added a goal in San Marino to his tally.

How many more can the 22-year-old go on to net? With so many years ahead of him, Shearer may well have reason to be worried.
