Ex-Tottenham chairman Alan Sugar took to Twitter with more negativity on Saturday evening - but his reaction seemed to sum up the north London side's current struggles.
Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino's men avoided defeat against Everton during a 0-0 draw and showed some encouraging signs.
In front of goal, however, Tottenham looked devoid of ideas once again and Sugar tweeted the following at the beginning of the game:
I can not see any game plan or tactics in this Spurs team— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) August 29, 2015
Sugar later praised Tim Howard and emphasised Spurs' need to finish their chances. A 0-0 draw here was no disaster but Tottenham will need much more after three draws in a row and four Premier League games without a win.
Spurs have had a few chances but need to finish. Tim Howard having a good game for Everton making some great saves.— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) August 29, 2015
Of course, those issues are actively being addressed in the transfer market - even if Tottenham have left things a little late.
Clinton Njie and Heung-Min Son have both been brought to White Hart Lane recently and should add a new spark of creativity to this Spurs side. And there may yet be names coming in before (or on) Deadline Day.
But it's been far from the start Pochettino and co would have envisaged at Tottenham this term.
