Report: West Ham open discussion over Kevin Malcuit

West Ham United are reportedly interested in Kevin Malcuit.

West Ham United have started discussions with Chamois Niortais over signing their player Kevin Malcuit, according to French news outlet RMC.

It has been claimed that the 24-year-old is also wanted by Nice and AS Saint-Etienne, with the report also stating that Niortais will not stand in the way of the former AS Monaco man if he wants to leave.

Malcuit has been on the books of the Ligue 2 outfit since 2014 and has a contract until June 2016.

The Frenchman is a very versatile player, who can feature as a full-back, winger and striker.

West Ham’s summer signing

West Ham have been busy in the summer transfer window so far, and it seems that they are not done yet.

The Hammers have signed Darren Randolph, Pedro Obiang, Dimitri Payet, Angelo Ogbonna, Carl Jenkinson and Manuel Lanzini.

The Premier League outfit do still need to recruit a striker, though, especially due to the injury sustained by Ecuador international Enner Valencia.
