Crystal Palace fans react on Twitter to Yohan Cabaye’s performance against Arsenal

Crystal Palace suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Crystal Palace fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Yohan Cabaye’s performance against Arsenal at Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

The France international midfielder was making his competitive home debut for the Eagles, as he lined up for the Premier League game against London rivals Arsenal.

The France international midfielder has been a marquee signing for Palace in the summer transfer window, arriving from Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain last month.

The 29-year-old established himself as one of the better midfielders in the Premier League during his time at Newcastle United, and he has already started to show his quality upon his return to the English top flight.

Against Arsenal on Sunday, Cabaye was once again playing an important role for Palace in midfield, stopping the opposition’s attacks as well as launching their own.

Over the course of the 90 minutes, the former Lille star took three shots, had a pass accuracy of 93%, put in five crosses, and made seven interceptions, two clearances and three blocks.

Following the match, which ended in a 2-1 win for Arsenal, Palace fans took to Twitter to have their say on the performance of Cabaye.
