The forward anticipates a big future if Reine-Adelaide listens to the advice available to him.
The youngster has been prominent for the Gunners this season, having played a starring role in their demolition of Lyon in the Emirates Cup and being touted as a star of the future by manager Arsene Wenger.
And Giroud says he was more than aware of the latest talent from the Arsenal production line, with the player having featured for the France U17 side when they won the European Championships.
“I knew that he was the Under-17 European Championship winning side last summer,” he told Arsenal.com.
“We have seen him on the pitch recently and he has shown his qualities.”
Last season saw Arsenal youngsters Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin step up into first team roles as an injury crisis hit the squad, with both impressing and likely to play a big part this season.
He is going to spend an increased amount of time around the first team squad this season as well, with Wenger having said he won’t be going out on loan during the summer transfer window.
And Giroud says if he’s listening to the advice being given to him by those at the club, he could improve very quickly.
“I think he’s quite mature for his age,” he added.
“He’s good a really good mentality and if he’s listening to the advice around him from his team-mates, he could improve very quickly. His potential is fantastic.”
