New RPG set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe coming to consoles, PC and Steam soon.

Games Workshop have announced a brand new RPG set in the Warhammer 40,000 Universe, the game is called Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr and will be released on PC, Mac Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The game has been developed by Games Workshop and Neocore, the studio responsible for titles such as King Arthur and The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr will be a Sandbox RPG with the player immersed into the terrifying 41st century that the original tabletop game is set in. You will play a part in a grim and secret war among the stars as the agents of the ever-vigilant Inquisition. Once players complete the single player campaign they will be thrown into a vast Sandboxed game set in the same sector of the universe.

Details are short at the moment and it’s unknown who the enemy will be in the game but no doubt as you’re playing as an inquisitor it will likely be the realm of Chaos but don’t be surprised to run into the likes of Orks, Tyranids, Tao or even Eldar.

A teaser trailer has been released, which you can watch below.
