West Brom forward Saido Berahino has expressed his disappointment that he cannot take part in Wednesday night's Baggies friendly but has assured supporters he is working hard to return to fitness ahead of the new season.
Indeed, the 21-year-old posted the above picture on Twitter of himself in training as he bids to get himself into shape for pre-season action with Tony Pulis's side.
There has been doubt about Berahino's West Brom future for some time now, with Sky Sports this summer discussing the chances of the young forward leaving the Hawthorns.
However, Berahino recently split with his agent - the same man responsible for Raheem Sterling's move to Manchester City - according to the Daily Mirror, and has joined up with West Brom's squad ahead of the new season.
Fans will no doubt hope for more of the same where goals come from, only for even more in the final third at the Hawthorns. Much of that may depend on who Pulis can bring in alongside Berahino and Brown Ideye at West Brom, however.
