Photos: Chelsea fans look away, Petr Cech trains with Arsenal for the first time

Arsenal don't ordinarily release whole photo galleries dedicated to one player.

But Petr Cech is no ordinary player. Nor is he an ordinary signing.

Indeed, the long-time Chelsea goalkeeper swapped Stamford Bridge for the Emirates Stadium this summer in a bid to get back to first-team football and also take on the added challenge of trying to rival his former club.

Cech has gotten used to winning trophies galore during his time with the Blues and was even a double winner having played very little for Chelsea last season.

This term, however, the 33-year-old wants to be the master of his own fate, although he'll have to rely on his Arsenal team-mates too, of course.

Those suggesting Arsenal can now win the Premier League thanks to Cech are perhaps a little wide of the mark. The veteran goalkeeper will no doubt add plenty to the Gunners' set-up and may certainly win them a place in the Premier League table. But Arsene Wenger's men need more in other positions as Chelsea's first team is simply no weaker now that Cech has left.

Naturally, though, the shot stopper's presence in training was a huge boost for Arsenal. Here he is in all his Gunners glory...
