West Ham United transfer round-up: Personal terms agreed with Alex Song

A selection of the latest news concerning West Ham United.

Personal terms have been agreed with midfield target Alex Song, according to the Daily Mail.

The Barcelona midfielder, who spent the 2014/15 season on loan at the Boleyn Ground, has long been linked with a permanent return to West Ham, and the agreement of terms between club and player hints at a move coming one step closer.

However, talks with the Hammers and Barcelona are at a stall right now, with the East London club waiting to sign him on a free transfer, whereas the Spanish club only want to sell him for a fee.

The same report also claims that West Ham do have an interest in Fabio Borini, although he is not their priority target. The Italian international is valued at £8 million by Liverpool, but the Hammers would prefer a loan move.

Javier Hernandez has also been discussed as a target, but Loic Remy and Charlie Austin remain the key targets that Slaven Bilic wants to sign.

It is also stated that the club have asked about Idrissa Gueye, although they are not confident on a transfer with the midfielder close to a deal with Marseille.
