Report: QPR want Charlton Athletic striker Igor Vetokele

Queens Park Rangers are reported to have been impressed by Charlton Athletic striker Igor Vetokele.

Queens Park Rangers are trying to sign Charlton Athletic striker Igor Vetokele, according to the Sevenoaks Chronicle

QPR are expected to make a number of additions this summer, and they reportedly feel that Vetokele would be a good buy.

The Belgian striker is blessed with pace and a deadly finish, making him an appealing acquisition for Chris Ramsey's side.

QPR are said to be hunting players with a point to prove, and they feel that Vetekole could fit in well with that policy.

The 23-year-old is still trying to make a name for himself in England and has made a promising start, netting 11 goals in his first season in the Championship.

If he can build on that total this year then he could be a good addition for QPR, but Charlton are understandably keen to keep hold of him.

Vetokele is the Addicks' main attacking threat and it will take a bid of around £4 million to convince them to sell.
