Report: Eduardo Vargas to leave QPR at the end of the season

Queens Park Rangers do not intend to sign Eduardo Vargas from Napoli on a permanent transfer, reports state.

Queens Park Rangers are not interested in signing Eduardo Vargas at the end of his loan spell, according to a report from the Daily Mail

Vargas was brought in by the R's last summer from Napoli and there was a lot of excitement around the transfer, but the Chilean has failed to live up to expectations.

Harry Redknapp and Chris Ramsey have both overlooked him regularly and he has never been given a run of games in his favoured position.

Vargas will argue that this is the reason that things haven't worked out at Loftus Road, but there are two sides to every story.

The Mail says that Vargas refused to even come off the substitutes' bench when asked by Ramsey in the club's match against Crystal Palace in March and if that is true his attitude must come into question.

Vargas is undoubtedly talented, but whether he had the desire required to make a success of his time at QPR is up for debate.

The R's apparently have no desire to make him a permanent addition, meaning Vargas is set head to back to Italy this summer after what has been a disappointing season.
