Marco Silvestri reveals on Twitter he won’t play for Leeds United tomorrow

Leeds United will face Rotherham United at Elland Road in the Championship tomorrow.

Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has taken to social networking site Twitter to reveal that he will not play tomorrow.

The West Yorkshire outfit will end their 2014-15 Championship campaign with a home match against Rotherham United.

Silvestri is the first-choice goalkeeper at Leeds, but he will not feature in the game at Elland Road tomorrow.

Just a few minutes ago, the Italian posted the following message on Twitter, clearly showing his own confusion as to why he is not going to play.

Silvestri was involved in a controversy last month when he was one of six players to pull out of the matchday squad, according to BBC Sport.

The 24-year-old posted a photo of his injury on Twitter (see below) to justify his withdrawal from the Championship game against Charlton Athletic away from home at The Valley on April 18.

It seems that this time Silvestri has been left out despite being fully fit, and hopefully more information will come out tomorrow.

Leeds are currently 15th in the Championship table with 55 points from 45 matches.
