Celtic youngster Liam Henderson was farmed out on loan to Rosenborg recently, and he scored his first goal for the club this week, taking to Instagram to celebrate.

Henderson, 18, joined Celtic from Hearts back in 2008, and is regarded as one of the club's brightest young prospects right now.

The Scotland Under-19 international has played 14 games this season, scoring once for Celtic as he broke into Ronny Deila's side this term.

However, with Stuart Armstrong and Gary Mackay-Steven arriving from Dundee United in January, Henderson slipped down the pecking order under Deila.

The Norwegian knew that Henderson needed playing time to continue his development, and decided to let him leave Celtic on loan in March.

Deila sent Henderson off to his native Norway with Rosenborg, knowing that the Tippeligaen side would nurture the teenager having faced them as Stromsgodset manager.

Now staying with Rosenborg until the summer, Henderson bagged his first goal for the club in a 3-0 cup final over Vuku on Wednesday night - and took to Instagram to celebrate.

Henderson will now be looking to impress Deila in his remaining time in Norway, and prove that he deserves first team football with Celtic next season.
