Confirmed: Dumbarton and Rangers line-ups

Here is how Dumbarton and Rangers will line up for this afternoon’s match…

Dumbarton starting XI: Rogers, Graham, Gilhaney, Agnew, Kirkpatrick, Taggart, Fleming, Easton, Campbell, Wilson, Findlay

Dumbarton subs: Ewings, Linton, Megginson, Petrie, Lightbody, McCallum

Rangers starting XI: Bell, McGregor, McCulloch, Zaliukas, Wallace, Vuckic, Law, Murdoch, Walsh, Hardie, Clark

Rangers subs: Simonsen, Boyd, Black, Gallagher, Shiels, Mohsni, Crawford

Dumbarton welcome Rangers to their ground this afternoon for a Scottish Championship encounter.

The hosts are currently seventh in the table, with 33 points from 33 matches and while they are 10 points clear of ninth-placed Alloa they will still want to get a few more victories between now and the end of the campaign.

That will be easier said than done against a Rangers side who are second in the table one point clear of Hibernian and desperate to pull further away from their closest rivals.

The last time these two sides met, Rangers won 3-1 at the start of January, but at home Dumbarton will be hoping to put up more of a fight.

That said, three defeats in a row for today’s hosts does not bode well and they will have to up their game considerably to take anything from the game.
