Arda Turan finally rejoined the group for Thursday's training after spending the past week-and-a-half on international duty with Turkey, giving Diego Simeone a complete squad ahead of this weekend's La Liga clash against Cordoba.
Thursday morning's training session also saw the return of Raúl Jiménez, but the Mexican international spend the training session working individually in the gym.
Atletico Madrid are preparing for a grueling schedule which will see Simeone's men play three La Liga contests against Cordoba, Real Sociedad and Malaga in a week, which is capped off by the first leg of their Champions League quarterfinal against Real Madrid at the Vicente Calderon on 14 April.
Simeone will likely rest Turan and allow the midfielder to recover with Saul, who has spent the international break regaining his fitness after a career-threatening kidney blow several weeks ago, ready to start against last-place Cordoba.
Simeone will also be without Miguel Angel Moya and Raul Garcia, who continue to recover from their respective injuries.
Atletico Madrid will have one more training session on Friday morning before heading down to Andalusia ahead of Saturday's match.
