Arsenal-owned striker Chuba Akpom sends encouraging message to Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter

Arsenal-owned striker Chuba Akpom is looking forward to his loan spell at Championship outfit Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal-owned striker Chuba Akpom has taken to social networking site Twitter to send an encouraging message to the Nottingham Forest fans.

The 19-year-old has been involved with the England Under-20 team over the past few days, and he is now looking forward to ending the season on a high with Forest.

Earlier this evening, Akpom posted the following message on Twitter which is surely going to excite the Reds supporters.

Akpom was involved in England’s games against Mexico and the USA over the international break.

The English youngsters got the better of their Mexican counterparts 4-2 on penalties at the Hive Stadium in Barnet, before defeating the USA 2-1 at Home Park in Plymouth.

The teenager joined Forest on loan from Premier League outfit Arsenal last week and has yet to feature for the Nottingham-based outfit.

Akpom will remain at the City Ground until the end of the season and will be looking to help Dougie Freedman’s side make a late push for the Championship playoffs.

Forest are currently ninth in the Championship table with 57 points from 39 matches, 10 points behind sixth-placed Ipswich Town.
