Six Newcastle United players' contracts expiring, Jonas Gutierrez should stay, Ryan Taylor should go

The likes of Sammy Ameobi, Adam Campbell and Rolando Aarons are also out of contract.

The season is coming to an end and with the international break clubs have plenty of opportunity at this moment in time to consider who will remain at the club and who will not.

That includes those whose contracts are coming to an end.

Six players at Newcastle United become free agents in the summer, so who should stay and who should go?

Jonas Gutierrez - STAY

Forget sentiment for a second. The Argentine is clearly a top player and adored by the fans. His hard working nature is simply a massive asset for the squad and he has earned another year.

Rolando Aarons - STAY

Newcastle have to tie this lad down to a new deal. He is a top talent and losing him would be a crime.

Sammy Ameobi - STAY

He is not everyone's cup of tea but the brash attacking force he has is something Newcastle could do with keeping. Deserves a new deal.

Ryan Taylor - GO

Time to part ways with Taylor?

He is a popular chap around these parts but you simply never know how long he is going to be fit for. Time to plump for someone slightly more reliable.

Adam Campbell - GO

Hasn't quite happened for the forward since making his debut v Atromitos in 2012. The 20-year-old is currently impressing at non-league Gateshead and undoubtedly has a future in the game. Just, not with Newcastle.

Remie Streete - GO

The defender is currently out on loan at Rangers, along with several other Newcastle players. He should also be let go in the summer.
