Robbie Savage predicts Chelsea v Paris Saint-Germain

Former Leicester City and Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage predicts Chelsea to progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the expense of Paris Saint-Germain.

Former Leicester City and Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage has predicted a 2-1 victory for Chelsea against Paris Saint-Germain on social networking site Twitter.

Premier League outfit Chelsea will host PSG at Stamford Bridge in the second leg of the Champions League last-16 tie this evening.

The first leg at Parc des Princes in Paris last month ended in a 1-1 draw, and Savage predicts that the Blues will win tonight’s match and progress to the quarter-finals.

Could Robbie Savage’s prediction come true?

Chelsea will be backed by many football followers to win tonight’s match and book their place in the last eight of the Champions League.

Jose Mourinho’s side are in a good run of form at the moment and will be confident of getting the better of their visitors.

The London outfit are very strong at home, and this will give them an added advantage, not to mention the fact that they have an away goal.

However, PSG’s chances should not be written off just yet. Although things are not going according to plan for Laurent Blanc’s side in Ligue 1, they are a force to be reckoned with.

If PSG score an early goal, then one should not be surprised if they go on to win the match and the tie.
