Leigh Griffiths reacts to Scottish Cup draw, hits back at Hibs jibe

The Celtic star took to Twitter after the Scottish champions were drawn against Dundee United in the cup quarter-finals.

Celtic are already in one final this season and now know they'll have to get past Dundee United if they want to ensure being in another.

Indeed, Monday's Scottish Cup quarter-final draw paired Celtic with United - a home tie for the Dundee side.

The Bhoys have already faced Jackie McNamara's men twice this term, beating them 6-1 before losing to them in December.

The head-to-head between the two sides, then, is all square - and it'll be all to play for in the last eight.

Griffiths, meanwhile, admits it is a tough draw but acknowledges Celtic have a great chance considering their recent form.

In between tweeting about the Scottish Cup draw, the Celtic forward also took time out to hit back at a Hibernian supporter on Twitter who suggested he should have joined Hibs instead of the Premiership leaders.

Hibernian are currently third in the Scottish Championship, one point behind Rangers having played three games more than the Gers.

Celtic travel to Partick Thistle on Wednesday night, while Hibernian, who'll face the winner of Berwick Rangers - Spartans in the Cup, travel to Rangers on Friday.
