A double from Tottenham Hotspur sensation and England hopeful Harry Kane could not have been worse timed for Arsenal.
His two goals fired Spurs to a 2-1 win over their bitter North London rivals, and embarrassed big-mouthed Gooner and former CNN host Piers Morgan, who had sent the following Tweets during the early part of Saturday's clash at White Hart Lane.
His goading truly backfired, as Kane's brace turned the match on it's head after Mesut Ozil had given the Gunners a first half lead.
His old adversary Lord Sugar, who once fired him on Celebrity Apprentice, took the chance to seize on Morgan's errant tweets, and gloat about the Tottenham Hotspur side he once presided over ending their run of matches against Arsenal without a win.
Eat your heart out @piersmorgan you were saying Kane can't get on Arsenal bench 2-1 Spurs— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 7, 2015
.@piersmorgan glad you got up at 4 am, now you have the rest of the day to get aggravated. Classic "Kane could not get on Arsenal bench"— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) February 7, 2015
Morgan's tweet went viral and was retweeted almost 20,000 times by other Twitter users, another own goal for the fan who famously criticised Arsenal handing star midfielder Aaron Ramsey a new contract.
The defeat sent him into a familiar spell of woe, reverting to type, and demanding Arsene Wenger be sacked as a result of the loss.
He would later phone in to BBC Radio 5 Live and TalkSport shows to vent his frustrations and compile a miserable day for him, attempting to ram home his point as to why manager Arsene Wenger should end his tenure at the club.
