Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane says he knows what London derbies are about

Tottenham Hotspur will host Arsenal in the North London derby in the Premier League on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has suggested to The London Evening Standard that he will not be fazed by Arsenal at the weekend.

Spurs will resume their North London rivalry against Arsenal at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Saturday.

It promises to be a fiercely competitive fixture, and one which could have a huge impact on the race for the fourth place in the Premier League.

Both Tottenham and Arsenal are in great form at the moment, and the atmosphere at White Hart Lane will be electric.

Spurs recently played Chelsea at White Hart Lane. Mauricio Pochettino’s side won that London derby 5-3, and since then their confidence has grown.

Kane is looking to draw inspiration that win, and has highlighted the fact that he knows how the Tottenham fans feel about such occasions.

“Doing that against a top team showed we’re a great side, and I know what London derbies are about,” The London Evening Standard quotes Kane as saying. “I’ve been a fan so I know what expect and how they’re feeling on the day of these games.”

Will Tottenham fans be decisive against Arsenal?

Tottenham struggled to play well and win points at White Hart Lane at the start of the season, and the fans were understandably frustrated.

However, with Spurs back on song and very much in the running for a top-four finish, the supporters are back in full voice.

The North London derby is one of the biggest in Europe, and the Tottenham fans will play a key role. Arsenal have some great players, but the Spurs supporters can drive their team to success at White Hart Lane.

If Tottenham score an early goal, then Arsenal will find White Hart Lane very intimidating.
