Sony reveal next month’s lineup of free PS Plus games with a bit of a mixed bag across the consoles.

The free PlayStation Plus games for February are out in the open.

Joining the PS4’s Instant Game Collection next month will be Supergiant Games’ isometric, time-freezing cyberpunk adventure Transistor, which we highly recommend if it’s a title that’s passed you by. Also available on Sony's latest will be the brand new ancient Greek-styled side-scrolling beat ‘em up Apotheon.

PS3 owners will be getting the crime adventure Yakuza 4, the last in the series to make it over to the west, although ahead of Yakuza Zero, Yakuza 5 is heading to North America and Europe this year. Also up for grabs will be last year’s reboot of Thief, the classic stealth game.

Vita gamers can look forward to Rogue Legacy, a glorious mish-mash of platformer and roguelike (this is a cross-buy and so should also be available for PS3 and PS4 as well) and another debut game in the shape of Kick and Fennick, a platformer featuring a toddler and a robot.

To get a look at February's free games you can check up the lineup video below.

The new batch of free games on offer will update on 4th February, so if you’ve not grabbed any of January’s free games you’ll have until then to get them.

As ever, we’re keen to know what you think of the PS Plus games on offer, drop us a comment whether February is looking bright or dismally ‘meh’.
