Lego reveal amazing new Marvel Avengers Helicarrier

A new 3000 piece Lego set of the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier will soon be released.

For fans of the Avengers franchise there aren't many pieces of tech cooler than the immense S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier. Part Aircraft Carrier, part flying airport the Helicarrier is a prominent fixture in the Marvel universe.

We have all wanted to own one for ourselves haven't we? Of course we have, well now we can and even cooler it is made of Lego and absolutely massive.

The set will be 3000 pieces and will come with five minifigures, Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Captain America and an exclusive Maria Hill minifigure.

The set is due to be released in March 2015 and will cost a whopping $350, roughly £230.

We have to say that this could be the most awesome Lego set yet and despite the price tag we are sure that this will be hugely popular, not to mention collectible.

You can find the first images of the Lego Helicarrier below along with images of the Minifigures.

You may have also noticed some slightly different minifigures in one of the images. Well, Lego aren't stupid, as the minifigures would be a little large for the Helicarrier in terms of scale they have also included a whole host of mini-minifigures. These will include Nick Fury, Captain America, Iron Man, Hawkeye and a lot of generic S.H.I.E.L.D agents. This set just keeps getting better.

So there you have it, Lego have seriously upped their game on this one, which make us really excited for the rest of the new Lego Marvel Super Heroes sets.
