Blizzard’s MMO celebrates its veteran players by handing out gifts.

Believe it or not, but World of Warcraft is over 10 years old, and reports are coming in that the game’s veteran players have been recieving specials gifts from the Blizzard developers.

One such report from WoW player “Smitti” says that he has received the below statue through the mail. Smitti says, “It’s a metal statue with a metal base. Weighs a few pounds. Stands about 8 inches tall.”

When asked on the forums about how long he has been playing the game, he responded, “[I’ve] not had a lapse since Dec 04.” Now, that’s commitment.

Here is the statue in all it’s glory.

And on the base there is a special message from Blizzard, which reads: “The Orc statue is a constant presence in our life at Blizzard Entertainment. It’s where we meet to talk, to eat, to celebrate. As we celebrate ten years of World of Warcraft, we present this token of our appreciation to you, stalwart adventurer. Thank you for being a constant presence in our lives as we adventure together.”

The statue is a replica of the wolf-riding orc that sits outside Blizzard’s HQ in California.

Thanks, PCGamesN.
