Roberto Martinez may be looking to add French youngster Angelo Fulgini to the development squad

Everton could be set to make a move for Valenciennes defender Angelo Fulgini according to L’Equipe.

The defender could be available for as little as €500,000 from the side who are currently struggling near the bottom of Ligue 2.

The youngster is regarded as one of France’s up and coming stars and would surely relish a move to a Premier League club to further his development.

Such a move would also fit in with Everton’s desire to build from within, a philosophy that has been maintained since the David Moyes reign.

In fact, current manager Roberto Martinez has been keen to bring talented youngsters to Goodison Park, with the likes of Brendan Galloway, Sam Byrne and David Henen all being signed to the club in recent months.

The quoted price tag would also fit nicely into the club’s budget, given their relative lack of spending power. The player has also garnered interest from Italian sides AC Milan Napoli.
