Liverpool set for £2.3m profit with sale of Oussama Assaidi - report

Liverpool could reportedly sell one of their players in the next 48 hours.

Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi is reportedly on the verge of completing a £4.7million move to Al-Ahli according to the Liverpool Echo.

The 26-year-old Moroccan was on loan at Stoke City but that deal has now been ended early with a move to Dubai said to be on the cards.

Assaidi has only made 12 appearances for Liverpool, in which time he provided one assist. But his loan spells at Stoke suggested he could still make it at Anfield, after he scored five goals and set up another four while at the Britannia Stadium.

However, it appears his time at Liverpool is coming to an end, with Brendan Rodgers’ side tipped to make a profit on a player who arrived at the club for a reported £2.4million but could leave for almost twice that amount.

The Echo claims Liverpool quickly accepted Al-Ahli’s offer and the deal could go through in the next two days.

But while players look set to leave the Reds in January, the big question is who will arrive?
