A new year, and a new tournament is set for the Summer.

We’re only just over a week into the new year and Valve have scheduled this year’s Dota 2 International tournament, in an announcement over on their blog.

The next tournament’s Main Event is to take place Seattle again (probably at KeyArena like last year), and will include 16 teams battling it out over 6 days full of matches. The event will run from 3rd August through 8th August.

Ticket availability will be announced at a later date, and team invitations will happen after 1st May. And that’s about it really, no further info.

Let’s hope the tournament is as exciting as last year’s, and I get to complete my compendium this time around.
