Tottenham player ratings against Burnley: Davies impresses while Paulinho struggles

Here are our player ratings for Tottenham Hotspur during the 1-1 draw against Burnley in the FA Cup.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino was left frustrated by his side’s 1-1 draw against Burnley last night.

He was frustrated with the performance and he was frustrated because the replay means his club have to fit another fixture into an already busy schedule.

Here are our player ratings for Tottenham’s stars last night.

Vorm – 6

Looked solid when he had anything to do and can’t be faulted for the goal.

Chiriches – 6

Didn’t look majorly troubled by George Boyd down his side, but it’s obvious he’s not a natural right-back.

Fazio – 7

Looked good and produced a solid display. It’s going to be difficult for teams to hurt Tottenham aerially with him in the side.

Vertonghen – 7

Looked quite comfortable throughout the game. Strokes the ball out from the back nicely.

Davies – 8

A decent game in defence and attack. He’s giving Pochettino a real problem over who starts regularly between himself and Danny Rose.

Dembele – 8

Looked imperial in midfield. Broke things up, won his physical battles and passed the ball around nicely.

Stambouli – 6

Fair to be a little critical as he was booked so early on, which left Pochettino’s hands tied at half-time.

Chadli – 7

A good finish and a good performance. He’s looking good down either flank at the moment.

Paulinho – 5

Played in an advanced role and struggled. It’s obvious he’s not had a lot of football so far this season.

Eriksen – 6

Worked hard as he was used in different positions throughout the game.

Soldado – 5

Looked isolated playing up front on his own. As always, he worked his socks off but things just aren’t falling for him.

Kane – 6

Missed a great chance late on, which will disappoint him considering his recent form.

Townsend – N/A
