Chelsea defender Filipe Luis has reflected on a 'great year' on social media site Twitter after taking part in his final training session of 2014 this morning.
Jose Mourinho put his side through their paces ahead of their game against Tottenham Hotspur on New Year's Day and Luis seemingly enjoyed the session.
He posed for a picture afterwards with teammates Didier Drogba, Willian, Thibaut Courtois, Petr Cech and Nemanja Matic and it brought to a close what has been a momentous year in his career.
Luis started 2014 with Atletico Madrid, where he played a prominent role in their unlikely La Liga title success and their run to the Champions League final.
His form during the previous campaign convinced Mourinho to spend £16 million to bring him to Stamford Bridge and the Brazilian has begun to make his mark at his new club now.
Although Luis has had to bide his time for first-team appearances with the Blues, he has broken into starting contention more recently and impressed whenever on display.
Luis will now be looking forward to 2015 and he will be hoping to add further medals to his collection by helping Chelsea claim the Premier League trophy in May.
