Leeds fans react on Twitter to Steve Morison's performance v Wigan

Leeds fans were not at all happy with the striker's display against Wigan Athletic.

It was no surprise that Leeds United fans were unhappy after their latest defeat to Wigan on Boxing Day.

And there were plenty of players - perhaps even boss Neil Redfearn - to be unhappy with...

“We were the better side but you can’t say you’re the better side and get beat 2-0 without keeping the back door shut," Redfearn told LUTV after the 2-0 loss.

“The first goal is a mistake and the second goal is poor defending. A disappointing day.

“The first goal is a mix-up. I’ve lost count of the amount of times we’ve been a good position but said it’s been a mix-up. Other sides don’t seem to make mix-ups, it always seems to be us.

“And the second goal, we’re trying to get ourselves back in it… I made a change at half-time and I thought the change worked. I thought we looked better. But the second goal’s poor."

But Leeds striker Steve Morison was a particular target of supporter wrath after coming on at half-time against Wigan.

In fact, many fans never want to see the forward in a Leeds shirt again after his Wigan cameo. Look away now, Steve, as Leeds fans react to your second-half performance on Twitter...
