Leroy Rosenior explains what Harry Kane brings to Tottenham Hotspur

Former Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United striker Leroy Rosenior is impressed with Tottenham Hotspur youngster Harry Kane.

Former Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United striker Leroy Rosenior has been singing the praises of Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane.

England Under-21 international Kane has been in brilliant form in recent weeks and is now firmly a first-choice striker for manager Mauricio Pochettino.

The 21-year-old has been among the goals in the Premier League and the Europa League, and on Wednesday he found the target in the League Cup.

Kane scored Tottenham’s third goal in the 4-0 victory over Newcastle United at White Hart Lane in the quarter-final tie.

The youngster’s overall performance was also hugely impressive, as he worked hard and linked up well with fellow attackers and midfielders.

Rosenior was impressed with Kane’s display against the Magpies and told BBC Sport: “You never questioned Spurs’ technical ability, but you sometimes questioned their determination and attitude.

“Kane has gone into that side and he epitomises determination and attitude. He has got technical ability as well, but I think he has changed the whole tone of the Spurs side as well.

“They seem to be more determined and up for the game when he plays. He has so much energy, and he uses it so positively with and without the ball.”

Kane’s hard work and enthusiasm has been praised by pretty much all football pundits who have watched Tottenham this season, and indeed the youngster should be hailed for what he brings to the team.

The Englishman has been a breath of fresh air for Tottenham, and the fans will hope that he continues his current run of good form.
