After 150 appearances for Charlton Athletic, spread over four seasons, Michael Morrison has bid farewell to The Valley.
The St Andrew’s outfit have been impressed by what they have seen from the former Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday defender and have decided to take him on a permanent basis.
Birmingham have announced that an agreement for the 26-year-old will be pushed through when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Morrison, who moves for an undisclosed fee, is poised to pen a three-and-a-half-year contract in the Midlands.
News of his signing has been welcomed by those he has been playing alongside in recent weeks, with Stephen Gleeson, Paul Robinson and David Cotterill taking to Twitter to air their delight.
