The Bhoys goalkeeper was in stunning form against Partick Thistle last night.
Celtic fans were delighted with Craig Gordon's display during their eighth consecutive domestic win against Partick Thistle last night.
Virgil van Dijk scored his side's winner and was voted man of the match during the 1-0 victory.
But Gordon's contribution was equally vital and did not go unnoticed by fans - or his manager.
"We had a fantastic save from Craig Gordon at the end," Celtic boss Ronny Deila told BBC Sport after the game. "We should have finished the game off in an earlier moment and we need to be more effective with our chances but sometimes it's like that.
"We have played better but I'm happy with the points. We deserved to win as we created a lot of chances but we have more to go."
Meanwhile, on match-winner Van Dijk, Deila said: "Virgil is a very important player.
"He is a leader in the group and on the pitch he is performing week in week out, again we had a clean sheet and Virgil was very good today, scoring another goal.
"We are building a team around him and of course we want to keep him."
Back to Gordon, meanwhile, and many Celtic supporters took to Twitter after the 1-0 win to celebrate the Scot's superb performance. The word on the street is that he is the best Celtic goalkeeper in years...
