Adryan, Mowatt and more: Leeds players react on Twitter to 2-0 win

Leeds United beat Derby County 2-0 on Saturday and some of their players later reacted to the victory on social media.

Leeds United put in a fantastic performance this weekend to secure a 2-0 victory against Championship leaders Derby County.

The win proved just how good Neil Redfearn's side can be and it is sure to give them plenty of confidence as they head into the busy festive period.

Mirco Antenucci scored both Leeds' goals a week on from their disappointing defeat to Blackburn Rovers, and following the match a number of players took to Twitter to reveal their thoughts.

Both Alex Mowatt and Stephen Warnock made reference to the brother of Leeds' goalkeeper Alex Cairns, after Blake Cairns tragically died in a car accident earlier this month.

Mowatt dedicated the hard-fought victory to the teenager whose funeral was on Friday while Warnock also referenced the tributes to Cairns and his family.

Brazilian play-maker Adryan posted a picture of himself celebrating with Redfearn along with the message 'Thank God. For more moments like this yesterday," while Lewis Cook hailed a great team performance.

Next up for Leeds is an away match at Ipswich Town who are looking very impressive themselves and are just a point behind Derby following their 1-0 win against Charlton Athletic.
