Manchester United latest: Falcao's message for fans, 22-year-old trains with first team

The latest Manchester United news, views and rumours.

Marnick Vermijl

Manchester United youngster Marnick Vermijl has been training with the first team ahead of their Premier League clash with Hull City at Old Trafford tomorrow afternoon.

The 22-year-old Belgian, pictured above with winger Ashley Young, plays at right-back and could possibly provide cover if United's injury crisis worsened even further.

Vermijl has made two appearances for United and was initially brought to the club after impressing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Radamel Falcao

Elsewhere, United striker Radamel Falcao has posted the following message on Instagram ahead of tomorrow's game with Hull:

"Happy to be once again in the call that has gone out and ready to enjoy again the Old Trafford magic."

Louis van Gaal

Meanwhile, Man United boss Louis van Gaal has taken a light-hearted dig at his social media team.

The official United Twitter account last week misunderstood the Dutchman at his press conference and posted that midfielder Daley Blind was out for six months not weeks.

And Van Gaal couldn't resist referencing the incident when providing his injury update this week.

"Last time I have said something and it was not so good interpreted," the 63-year-old told reporters. "So, I have asked my medical advisor. Maybe Manchester United Twitter account can pay attention to it."
