The Serbian led the talk for Chelsea at Anfield recently.
Chelsea are top of the Premier League table and are undoubtedly the current favourites to win the Premier League table.
The club have also taken on the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool this season - so they are not exactly just playing against the little boys of the Premier League.
During one of those games an interesting story emerged about unsung hero Nemanja Matic.
The Serbian, who has been in sensational form this season, gave the team-talk before Chelsea took on Liverpool at Anfield.
Chelsea won the game 2-1 and after the game the likes of John Terry and Cesar Azpilicueta praised Matic for his inspiring words.
Now the man himself has opened up about the incident.
He has been speaking to Soccer AM's Tubes about his time back at Chelsea - revealing what he said in that now infamous team-talk.
"Nothing special I just said that if we want to be the champions we have to win the games like this, That if we lost Southampton and City would come close. After that it would be more difficult, with more pressure.
"When you play for Chelsea you can say what you want. The players know what they have to do."
Who knows? Matic might very well be a future Chelsea captain.
